Mieszkający w stolicy Bhutanu Ugyen ma jasno sprecyzowany plan na życie. Mężczyzna marzy o karierze piosenkarza i w tym celu zamierza wyjechać do Australii. Zanim jednak będzie mógł to zrobić, musi odbyć ostatni rok rządowej służby nauczycielskiej. Decyzją przełożonych trafia do najbardziej odległej wiejskiej szkoły. Położone na wysokości pięciu tysięcy
metrów miejsce nie ma nic wspólnego z wygodnym życiem, jakie do tej pory prowadził. Choć początkowo Ugyen chce jak najszybciej stamtąd uciec, zaangażowanie młodych uczniów sprawia, że zaczyna zmieniać zdanie o tym wyjątkowym miejscu.

Ugyen, who lives in Bhutan’s capital, has a clear plan for his life. The man dreams of a career as a singer, and to achieve this he plans to moveto Australia. However, before he can do so, he must serve his last year of government teaching service. By the decision of his superiors, he is sent to the most remote rural school. Located at an altitude of five thousand meters, the place has nothing to do with the comfortable life he has led so far. Although initially Ugyen wants to get away from there as soon as possible, the commitment of the young students makes him begin to change his opinion of this unique place.
