Sara (Eva Green) jest astronautką. Jako jedyna kobieta bierze udział w wyczerpującym szkoleniu Europejskiej Agencji Kosmicznej. Każdego dnia pod kontrolą maszyn i specjalistów, poddana ekstremalnym warunkom, jakie panują na statku kosmicznym, ćwiczy wytrzymałość swojego organizmu. Jej codzienność to nie tylko mordercze treningi, ale również ciągłe udowadnianie męskiej części załogi, że zasługuje na miejsce w zespole. W domu zrzuca skafander i jest mamą 7-letniej Stelli. Kiedy zostaje wybrana na członka załogi misji „Proxima”, jej dotychczasowe życie zaczyna się komplikować.

Sara (Eva Green) is an astronaut. She is the only woman to take part in the exhaustive training of the European Space Agency. Every day, under extreme conditions like those of a spaceship, she exercises the resistance of her body. Her everyday life is not only an exhausting training, but also a constant effort to prove to the male part of the crew that she deserves a place in the team. At home she is a mother of 7-year-old Stella. When she is chosen as a crew member of the “Proxima” mission, her life starts to get complicated.

Urodzona w 1976 roku w Paryżu francuska reżyserka i scenarzystka. Absolwentka prestiżowej paryskiej szkoły filmowej La Femis. Już jej pełnometrażowy debiut, zrealizowany w 2012 roku „Augustine”, miał swoją premierę na festiwalu w Cannes. Dotychczas Winocour największą sławę osiągnęła jako współscenarzystka głośnego „Mustanga” Deniz Gamze Ergüven z 2015 roku.
Born in 1976 in Paris, a French director and screenwriter. A graduate of the prestigious La Femis film school in Paris. Her feature debut “Augustine”, released in 2012, premiered at Cannes Film Festival. So far Winocour has achieved the greatest recognition as co-writer of the famous “Mustang” by Deniz Gamze Ergüven from 2015.
