Elena is a dancer and Dovydas is a sign language interpreter. They both work with their bodies, searching for the best way to express the subtlest meanings and deepest emotions through dance and hand movements. Urodzona w 1991 roku w Wilnie. Reżyserka i scenarzystka, uważana za jedną z największych nadziei współczesnego kina litewskiego. W latach 2010–2014 studiowała reżyserię w Litewskiej Akademii Muzyki i Teatru. W 2018 roku zrealizowała swój pełnometrażowy debiut Summer Survivors, który miał swoją premierę na MFF w Toronto. Jej film Slow został uhonorowany Nagrodą za reżyserię na prestiżowym MFF Sundance.

Born in 1991 in Vilnius, she is a director and screenwriter considered one of the great hopes of contemporary Lithuanian cinema. From 2010 to 2014 she studied directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. In 2018, she made her debut feature film Summer Survivors, which premiered at the Toronto IFF. Her Slow won the Directing Award at the prestigious Sundance IFF.
