POLACY DONBASU
Film dokumentalny opowiadający o osobistych doświadczeniach pani Stelli Nesterowej oraz historii jej rodziny, która została ewakuowana z Donbasu na początku wojny w Ukrainie w 2015 roku. Film został nakręcony pod koniec 2021 roku, przed bezpośrednią inwazją Rosji na Ukrainę 24 lutego 2022.

WIARA. NADZIEJA. MIŁOŚĆ
Zrealizowany w ramach stypendium Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego film dotyka spraw związanych z Ukrainą, polskością w Ukrainie i wojną. W 2015 i 2016 roku w wyniku konfliktu na ziemiach wschodniej Ukrainy Polacy zamieszkujący tereny Doniecka, Ługańska i Mariupola zwrócili się z apelem do państwa polskiego o pomoc. Rząd Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej zdecydował się przeprowadzić ewakuację. Do Polski przybyło wówczas około trzystu osób. Projekt obejmuje działania związane z dokumentowaniem śladów polskiej historii oraz losów Polaków powracających ze wschodniej Ukrainy.

THE POLES OF DONBAS
A documentary film about the personal experiences of Ms Stella Nesterova and the story of her family, who were evacuated from Donbass at the beginning of the war in Ukraine in 2015. The film was shot in late 2021, prior to Russia’s direct invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022.

FAITH. HOPE. LOVE
Made under a grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the film touches on issues related to Ukraine, Polishness in Ukraine and the war. In 2015 and 2016, as a result of the conflict in the lands of eastern Ukraine, Poles living in the areas of Donetsk, Lugansk and Mariupol appealed to the Polish state for help. The government of the Republic of Poland decided to carry out evacuations. About three hundred people then arrived in Poland. The project includes activities related to documenting traces of Polish history and the fate of Poles returning from eastern Ukraine.

Fotografka, reżyserka filmowa. Urodzona w Słupsku, obecnie mieszka w Warszawie. Absolwentka prawa, radca prawny i rzecznik patentowy. Studiowała reportaż na studiach podyplomowych z zakresu dziennikarstwa na UW. W 2015 roku uczestniczyła w polsko-norweskich warsztatach dokumentalnych w Oslo. Od 2016 roku jest członkiem Stowarzyszenia Filmowego Filmforum, którego misją jest edukacja twórców i odbiorców sztuki filmowej i działania na rzecz rozwoju branży filmowej. W latach 2018–2020 uczestniczyła w wymianie dokumentalnej w ramach polsko-francuskiego Kinographe. W 2022 roku rozpoczęła naukę w Szkole Historycznego Dokumentu Filmowego w Instytucie Badań Literackich PAN i Centrum Kompetencji Cyfrowych UW Polskiej Akademii Nauk. Pasjonatka żeglarstwa, filmu, fotografii, historii i muzyki. W swoim twórczym dorobku ma dwie indywidualne wystawy fotograficzne i kilka wspólnych z innymi artystami. Jej filmy dokumentalne były pokazywane na wielu międzynarodowych festiwalach filmowych, m.in. w Los Angeles, Kijowie, Pekinie, Tulum, Katmandu, Singapurze, Stambule. W swoich filmach stara się ukazywać kondycję człowieka w zmieniającym się świecie, spoglądając przez pryzmat historii i jej wpływu na losy pokoleń. Obecnie pracuje nad projektami dokumentującymi ślady Polaków na Wschodzie..

Photographer and film director. Born in Słupsk, currently lives in Warsaw. A law graduate, legal adviser and patent attorney. She studied reportage at a postgraduate course in journalism at the University of Warsaw. In 2015 she participated in a Polish-Norwegian documentary workshop in Oslo. Since 2016 she has been a member of the Filmforum Film Association, whose mission is to educate filmmakers and audiences about the art of filmmaking and work for the development of the film industry. Between 2018 and 2020 she participated in a documentary exchange as part of the Polish-French Kinographe. In 2022, she started studying at the School of Historical Film Documentary at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Centre for Digital Competence of the UW Polish Academy of Sciences. She is passionate about sailing, film, photography, history and music. Her creative output includes two individual photographic exhibitions and several joint exhibitions with other artists. Her documentaries have been screened at many international film festivals, including Los Angeles, Kiev, Beijing, Tulum, Kathmandu, Singapore and Istanbul. In his films, he seeks to portray the human condition in a changing world, looking through the lens of history and its impact on the fate of generations. He is currently working on projects documenting the traces of Poles in the East.
