Anżelika works as a manicurist in a kitschy, pink salon where clients treat her as a silent therapist, confiding their stories of abuse, fear, and longing. When she unexpectedly discovers she is pregnant, her fragile stability shatters. Without a home or a support system, she begins to imagine alternative versions of herself shaped by the expectations of others, while an AI chatbot becomes her sole source of comfort.

Interesuje się współczesnym językiem narracji, łącząc realizm z elementami absurdu i humoru. Studiuje reżyserię i montaż w Warszawskiej Szkole Filmowej. Pracuje w technice mixed media, łącząc animację, kolaż, fotografię i film. Jej debiut krótkometrażowy „PRZEGRYW.” (2025) był prezentowany na licznych festiwalach w Polsce i za granicą, w tym na WAMA Film Festival. „Wszystkie miały na imię Anżelika” jest jej najnowszym filmem krótkometrażowym.

Alexandra 'Sasha’ Kutsen (born 2004 in Minsk, Belarus) is a director, animator, and multimedia artist. Interested in contemporary narrative language, she blends realism with elements of the absurd and humor. She is currently studying directing and editing at the Warsaw Film School. Working in mixed media, she combines animation, collage, photography, and live-action film. Her short debut LOSER. (PRZEGRYW., 2025) was screened at numerous festivals in Poland and abroad, including the WAMA Film Festival. They Were All Named Anżelika (Wszystkie miały na imię Anżelika) is her latest short film.
