Historia Raisy, czeczeńskiej kobiety, która ucieka ze swojego kraju, by zawalczyć o siebie i swoje dzieci. Podejmując decyzję o wyjeździe wyłamuje się z tradycyjnego systemu. To jedyna możliwość na wyrażenie sprzeciwu wobec zasad obowiązujących w jej rodzinnym kraju i krzywd, jakie ją spotkały. O swoich trudnych doświadczeniach opowiada nauczycielce języka polskiego. To film o kobiecej sile, determinacji, walce o godność i niezależność.
The story of Raisa, a Chechen woman who leaves her country to fight for herself and her children. By deciding to leave, she breaks out of the traditional system. This is the only way for her to express her opposition to the rules of her home country and the injustices she has suffered. She tells a Polish language teacher about her difficult experiences. This is a film about women’s strength, determination, struggle for dignity and independence.

Dokumentalistka i iberystka. Właścicielka małej firmy produkcyjnej Sangaj Studio. Absolwentka Szkoły Wajdy oraz Reżyserii Filmu Dokumentalnego na London University of the Arts. W latach 2013-2015 współpracowała z Telewizją Polską na stanowiskach montażystki i reporterki. Reżyserowała filmy dla organizacji pozarządowych m.in.: 350.org, Ashoka i Amnesty International. Jej krótkometrażowy dokument „7 Hectares Back”, został wyróżniony m.in. przez magazyn Yale Environment 360 w kategorii Najlepszy Film Ekologiczny. Stypendystka Prezydenta Miasta Warszawy.
A documentary filmmaker and iberist. Owner of a small production company Sangaj Studio. Graduate of the Wajda School and Documentary Film Directing at London University of the Arts. In 2013-2015 she worked with Polish Television as an editor and reporter. She has directed films for NGOs such as: 350.org, Ashoka and Amnesty International. Her short documentary „7 Hectares Back” was awarded by Yale Environment 360 magazine in the Best Environmental Film category. She holds a scholarship from the President of the City of Warsaw.
